These fireworks are one of the prime attractions of the celebrations in Hong Kong, that not only illuminate the night sky but also cast an equally vibrant reflection on the water. Best vantage points to witness this spectacle from include the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Center, Harbour City Car Park, Golden Bauhinia Square.

New Year’s eve in the Big Apple is about being one of the thousands who flock to Times Square to watch the iconic ball drop at midnight.
